Poo Poo on the potty!!!

Well Brooklyn has officially been pooping on the potty for 3 days!!! We are so excited about this!!! When she has to go she will come to me and whine and go to her potty. She is not so good at peeing yet but we are working on it and hopefully it will be coming soon!

Another trip to the pumpkin patch with friends!

When we where in St.Louis 2 weeks ago we went to the pumpkin patch there also! What a great day we got to hang out with all our BESTIES!!

We went to the Pumpkin patch with Coy's class 2 weeks ago! We had such a great time it was kind of a gloomy day but that didn't stop the fun!






He was SOOO proud of his pumpkin that he picked out!

The Presidental Election From The Eyes Of A 5 Year Old

So today while on the way to Walmart I hear Coy in the backseat yelling "GO OBAMA BOO JOHN MCAIN". I am very into this election as I'm sure most everyone is but I didn't think that Coy was into it also, I guess kids really do pick up on EVERYTHING!! Anyways this is how our conversation went:

Coy: go obama boo john mcain!

Me: Coy do you know what the election is about?

Coy: yes mom!

Me: what is is about then?

Coy: I think they are going to fight and who ever gets beat wins, like in wrestleing!

Me: Well Coy they are not going to fight with there hands, more with there words and that is not how the winner is picked. We are voteing for the person who we agree with

Coy: (interupting me) so they are not going to fight

Me: no Coy we are going to vote according to our beliefs like I like Obamas health care plan and I also like his plan for the economy

Coy: okay mom I thought they where going to fight.
(focusing his attention on the new election 08' donkey that we won out of the claw machine) go Obama boo john Mcain

I thought that he was soo funny you got to love the way kids view things!!

Heart brain

Today since Josh had to work all day the kids and I decided take a drive to the next town and go to there street fest! Well when we got there I couldn't find the festival (must not have been that big) so we found a nice little park to play in.
While we where on are way home Coy and I played the I LOVE YOU more than game (He loves to take turns telling each other that we love them more than stuff such as grass or anything that comes to mind) after we played that for about 10 min he decided that he wanted to talk about why God gave each person the brain they have, so I asked him what kind of brain he had and he said that his brain is a smart brain with a rock n roll brain stuck to it (since you can only have one brain LOL). He asked what kind of brain I had and I said that I have a Mommy brain he said "no mom you have a heart brain thats what God gave to you because he knew you would love Brookie and me more with a brain like that" He is such a sweet boy!!

Fundraising

Coy came home with a fundraiser today and in huge letters it said DO NOT GO DOOR TO DOOR ONLY SELL TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! Now when I was little they encouraged you to go door to door and sell as many things as you could. I just can't believe how fast things are changing the prizes are even easier to get you only have to sell 30 things to win a ride in a limo, when I was little it you had to sell like 200 items and it was so out of reach now all you have to sell is 30?! WOW

obsessive vacuumer?

I love to vacuum my floors, I vacuum at least 5 times a day and I'm not talking one time over I'm talking like 5 or 6 times over the whole carpet each and every time I vacuum! Josh was home tonight to witness first hand what goes on when I do my thing, he looked at me and said "babe I think you hit that spot a few times over" LOL I can't help myself anyways don't they say that it is good exercise? Hmmm... well maybe I will Google it!
